In the Weinkosterei Vinothek Burgenland in the Wine Cellar of Schlaining Castle, you will find wines from the best six growing regions of Burgenland. All DAC (= Districtus Austriae Controllatus) regions of Burgenland are represented here, the most delicious white wines, red wines, sparkling wines and sweet wines. Classic and biodynamic, there is something for every taste in the Weinkosterei.

At Schlaining Castle, wine lovers get their money’s worth glass by glass.

In the wine-growing regions of Burgenland, there is an unbelievable wealth of very special types of wine that do not exist elsewhere in the world. What has been cultivated, refined and perfected over centuries enables international top performance today and represents a benchmark in many areas in the wine country of Austria.

You can relay and enjoy our wines for a fair price.
So a sample of 1/16 litre costs 1.60 €, and special terroirs from the open selection amount to 2.20 €.

Time for Wine! Our Wine Librarian Sylvia

Our wine librarian Sylvia Holner from Großpetersdorf is already looking forward to your visit in the Weinkosterei at Schlaining Castle. She has many years experience in gastronomy in Austria and internationally and, as a winemaker’s wife, knows just about everything about our delicious and multifaceted wines from Burgenland.
